Dean's Office hosts Open House
On June 15th, the dean鈥檚 office hosted an open house for academic departments to come see what鈥檚 new, or new to them, in terms of services and other offerings in the centralized college support units. Participating units included the Dean鈥檚 Business Office, Advancement and Communications, Educational Technology Services, and Research Support.
It was a fun day of games, food, prizes, sharing and camaraderie. Visitors viewed display boards, chatted with staff members, snacked on a buffet style lunch, or played games which demonstrated ways to incorporate technology into teaching or other engaging presentations. The event culminated in a drawing and dessert, including the infamous strawberry shortcake.
